Building the platform behind a new reviews business

Context
SeniorAdvisor was created within A Place for Mom to help people evaluate senior-living options through a dedicated reviews platform.
Challenge
The platform needed to connect provider information, consumer reviews, moderation, search visibility, and business integrations. The architecture had to support a useful customer experience and the growth of a new business.
What I did
I co-founded the platform and personally built its first architecture and data model. I helped develop the systems behind provider information, reviews, technical SEO, moderation, and integrations as the platform grew.
The work connected the foundational data decisions with the practical requirements of operating a reviews destination: organizing information, making it discoverable, and supporting the teams maintaining it.
Result
SeniorAdvisor grew to include thousands of providers and thousands of reviews annually. It became a substantial business within the parent organization.
What it demonstrates
The ability to create the initial technical foundation of a product and connect its development to a meaningful business opportunity.
